I’ve had an article about GMail labels, what they are and how they function. The problem is, even if we put labels on our mails, they still clutter our Inbox.
The problem is solved by GMail’s “Archive” feature. By combining Labels and Archive, you’ll have a way to organize your emails as if you have folders. Here are the steps:
1. Create a new Label.
2. Select the emails you want to be sorted with the label you just created.
3. Click the “Labels” pulldown menu and select the newly created label and click “Apply”.
4. With the emails still selected, click Archive.
To be able to view those archived emails, click the label you created in the Labels section of the page.
