Prevent Skype from Opening Multiple Browser Tabs

After installing Skype 5.1, you’ll notice that your browser starts opening multiple tabs once Skype is launched. This happens because Skype tries to connect to Facebook. And if you’re in a company that blocks social media sites during work hours, your browser will be a mess filled with a lot of tabs.

To stop Skype from doing this, go to the Facebook tab on your Skype window and click the “Don’t show Facebook on Skype” link. Your browser should start acting normal again.
