I was in total disbelief when I got an email from Mr. Sam about a certain Mr. Harry Thomas Jr. joining the yearly MovemberPI. The name sounds familiar as it belongs to the US Ambassador to the Philippines. I thought maybe Mr. Sam just mixed up the names so I replied and also asked for a picture that I can crop and add to the site. And man, I was stunned when I saw Amb. Harry Thomas Jr.’s picture on the reply. It’s really great to know someone popular, let alone a government official, joining a humble movement with a cause.
He even had a Facebook post about joining. And here’s his article about his father who fought against cancer.
Welcome to MovemberPI, Amb. Thomas! Thanks for being a Mo Bro.

MovemberPI 2011 already started! We’re now on the second week of this Mo-growing charity event. Last year, we we’re able to raise over Php 30000.00 from registrations, donations, and sales of shirts. This year more Mo Bros and Sis joined the Mo Barkada and we’re hoping more would support the cause to raise prostate cancer awareness. Kudos to the sponsors who also participated in this event.
Thanks to RPA Style Magazine for featuring MovemberPI.
For those planning to take prostate cancer test or PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) screening, this is one way of doing it and this video might help you get prepared:
