LeBron-Getting-Dunked-On-Video Surfaces

At last! A video of LeBron James getting dunked on by Jordan Crawford finally surfaces. Thank you eBaumNation! Just click on the link to watch the video.

This happened during LeBron James’ camp. After the game, Nike officials confiscated all video evidences of James being posterized. According to Nike, it’s been their long-standing policy. However, there were debates on the web and others say that Nike is just trying to cover up for LeBron.

The dunk wasn’t as exciting as Vince Carter’s dunk on Frederic Weis. LeBron was just late on the defense and was caught by Crawford. Why keep the video from us?

Here’s the YouTube video from KobeCamp2009.

LA Lakers: NBA ’09 Champs

Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers captured the franchise’s 15th NBA title after they toppled the Orlando Magic in Game 5, 99-86. This is Kobe’s 4th title – his first without Shaquille O’ Neal.

Bryant  said that the can’t-win-without-Shaq talks annoyed him.

It was like Chinese water torture,” he said. “I would cringe every time. I was just like, it’s a challenge I’m just going to have to accept because there’s no way I’m going to argue it. You can say it until you’re blue in the face and rationalize it until you’re blue in the face, but it’s not going anywhere until you do something about it.

Kobe averaged 32.4 points per game and was named Finals MVP.

On the other hand, Phil Jackson also has broken the tie between him and Red Auerbach as winningest coach in finals history. He won six titles with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls and now have four with the Lakers.

I’ll smoke the cigar tonight in memory of Red,” Jackson said. “He was a great guy.

Though Jackson and Bryant had a strained relationship and were briefly separated, it couldn’t be denied that they would be needing each other to attain their goals. Jackson now sees a different Kobe.

He’s learned how to become a leader in a way in which people want to follow him,” Jackson said. “That’s really important for him to have learned that because he knew that he had to give to get back in return, and so he’s become a giver rather than just a guy that a demanding leader. That’s been great for him and great to watch.

After the hard fought playoffs, the Lakers now have the title in their hands. After being humiliated in last year’s Game 6, they’ve redeemed themselves.

Could’ve Been a Sweep

The Cavs are now down 3-1 against the Magic in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic won Game 4 – 116-114.

Well, I do think the Cavs could’ve been swept if not for Lebron’s amazing last second shot. Here’s a video, courtesy of fsisi87, of the final two plays in Game 2.

However, James wasn’t able to do a repeat of the shot in Game 4. After sweeping their opponents in the first two rounds, the Cavs now find themselves down with their season about to fall short. Game 5 will be played on Cleveland – where the Cavs won 43 out of 46 games in the regular season and where Orlando won Game 1 of the series.

I’m not rooting for any team. I just love the games (even the Lakers and Nuggets series) and the match-ups. The NBA has become more exciting and unpredictable. Who would’ve thought the resilient Magic and Nuggets would give the number 1 and 2 teams hard times in the Conference Finals. Who knows? It could be the Magic and Nuggets facing in the NBA Finals.

Here’s a quick review of the game.
